Crew Commitments
UPMC Park is Smoke-Free
UPMC Park is a smoke-free stadium. Smoking is not permitted on the entire Erie Events Campus.
Mobile Phone Use
Personal use of mobile phones is not permitted while on duty serving our Guests. If you need to use your phone for personal reasons, please see you supervisor so a break can be scheduled.
Cleanest Ballpark Concourse in America
The head of Minor League Baseball once called UPMC Park the cleanest ballpark concourse in America. Please help us keep it that way by disposing of litter and contacting the Clean Team when spills, stains, or sickness occur.
Stay Healthy
Please help us keep our Guests and Crew Members healthy. Please wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds. If you are sick, please notify your supervisor. We would rather you be home resting and recovering than creating potential risks for yourself and others.
Code of Conduct
In PlayBall magazine, you'll find a Guest Code of Conduct. If you believe a Guest has violated the code, please notify your supervisor or stadium security.
Pay & Breaks
Pay Periods
Our workweek, for payroll purposes, is from Monday to Sunday. The important days to mark on your calendar are the 15th and the last day of the month because we pay our employees semi-monthly – which means twice per month.
Breaks
Crew Members that work less than a five-hour shift will be eligible for a paid 10-minute break during your shift. Crew Members that work more than a five-hour shift will be eligible for a 30-minute unpaid break during your shift. When taking an unpaid break, please remember to punch in and out at the start and end of your break period. All breaks must be coordinated with and approved by your direct supervisor.
